Downloaded the new Lost Winds game for Wii and the art is so inspirational I just had to do a fanart!  All done on my new netbook using Sai.

Testing out my new netbook by doing a fanart of drazebot’s characters. The machine holds up and I had a blast drawing it!

I love trying to picture how people make comics.  Another one of my obsessions!  I’d love to be a hobo dude who just made comics all day instead of being in the rat race of an 8-5 job.  So here’s what I’d picture I might look like.  Ink stained hands, crazy hair/beard, comics all around and a lantern to see what I’m doodling.  Not sure if he’s supposed to be in a cave or not but you’ll have to use your imagination for that!

Just some sketches I felt like doing up! BPRD is probably my favourite comic series of all time so I just did this quickie while chillin’ with ALisa yesterday.  The Thor-Frog (of Throg) was just too cool of a character for me to pass up drawing.  Plus I wanted to try out some brush and ink techniques to get me set up for my comic.  Throg was done with a sumi brush (which I don’t like at all!) and the BPRD piece was done with the pentel brush pen.  So far I’m not in love with either but I bought some cheap sable hair brushes and I’m gonna try those out soon.

I’ll let you know how that goes! heh heh

I’m workin’ away on my graphic novel and after reading tons of books and doing lots or research I’ve finally found a way I like to rough’em out!  So I thought I’d share some of the process with ya and give ya an insider peek!

A day late. This is a fan art of Drazebot’s character. Not sure the name >_> But yeah, I’m ashamed my last post was in September! Sheesh! I’m busy working on my original graphic novel so I assure you I’m drawing! Just nothing that I can post yet! Stay tuned for more updates!!!

I’m a huge fan of a cat named Chamba. This is a fanart of his original characters which I had a lot of fun drawing up as well as colouring! Haven’t put a huge focus on colouring in a LONG time!

Ever since I discovered SAI as an inking program for my work I’ve been more motivated because I actually have tools that work to my skill/taste!

Next up, I should scrap doing Fan Art all the time and do something original for a change!
